World Clock Alexanderplatz

The world clock on the Alexanderplatz in the Berlin district of Mitte (also: Urania World Clock ) is a clock system in unit with a symbolic world view. It contains on its metal rotunda the names of 146 places as well as an additional entry to the date border. Since its formation in 1969, the ten-meter-high is Weltzeituhr a popular meeting place for Berliners and tourists in the German capital. Since July 2015, the world clock is under monument protection. For the 50th anniversary in 2019, the marketing rights were released, so they come as souvenirs in the souvenir shops.
